Alex Guarnaschelli

Guarnaschelli Maria Guarnaschelli's daughter is an editor of cookbooks. She graduated in 1991 from Barnard College with an art historical degree. She worked for the American Place restaurant for one year for the minimum wage from 1991 to the year 1991. Guarnaschelli began her journey into the world of food by working with her mother to test many recipes and then writing books. Guarnaschelli began her career in the kitchen of Larry Forgione. Her son Marc Forgione was the Iron Chef. Guarnaschelli later went on to work at various eateries throughout France and Los Angeles. Guy Savoy owns La Butte Chaillot. Guarnaschelli also worked for Daniel Boulud's eponymous restaurant and Joachim Splichal's Patina before being named the executive chef at Butter. Prior to its closing, she served as executive chef at the Darby. She is chair of the museum's Culinary Council. In 2013, Guarnaschelli's first cookbook was published. "Old Foods from School and the way I learned cook" contains autobiographical elements along with her top recipes from her books she's modified to be suitable for the home. Alex Alex Alex
