Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is Anna Silk (born January 31, 1974) is a Canadian actress who is most well-known for her character Bo from the Showcase television series Lost Girl. Silk is an actress from Canada who was born in Fredericton New Brunswick. Ilkay Silk, and Peter Silk were the fathers of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director and is a drama teacher on the drama department at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna holds some of her most fond memories of watching TV and going to rehearsals for plays. Silk featured in a number of commercials when she was a kid. She received a Bachelor's of Arts from St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas produced at least Two early productions: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk made the move to Toronto to pursue her acting career in the month of November 1999. She then, over the following decade relocated into Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman is her future husband, who she first met during her time in Los Angeles at an Actors training. In December 2009 they married following a civil ceremony. In April of 2011, they renew their vows during a Jewish ceremony in Fredericton following her conversion to Judaism. Silk Cooperman was born in May 2013and had a son who was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Her son Levi Aaron was born on May 13, 2016. Silk's TV work is centered around the character Cassidy Holland in Being Erica in which she was awarded an Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. Silk was cast in the role as Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian show Lost Girl in 2009. Silk became pregnant during final production of the season 3 finale and announced this to viewers in the Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on the 6th of January, 2013. On June 4 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced that production was beginning on the fourth season and on June 20, 2013 Silk announced via Twitter that she was back to the series. CNN named Bo's portrayal with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most popular TV couples of all time. E! voted it as the most popular TV couple in 2013. Entertainment Television.
